Nathalia’s G.R.A.I.N. Store presents Australian singer-songwriting legend Eric Bogle at St Mary’s Auditorium tonight.

Bogle is an internationally acclaimed folk singer/songwriter who has toured Australia and the world extensively during the past 25 years.

Best-known for his iconic song The Band Played Waltzing Matilda, Bogle has appeared at every major folk and country music festival in Australia and overseas including Port Fairy, Woodford, Tamworth, Gympie Muster, Philadelphia Festival, Newport, Toronto, New Orleans, Vancouver and Edinburgh.

Other popular Bogle songs include No Man’s Land (The Green Fields of France), Leaving Nancy, Now I’m Easy, Shelter and If Wishes Were Fishes.

His songs have been recorded by well-known artists such as Joan Baez, Mary Black, Donovan, Slim Dusty, John Williamson, Billy Bragg, The Pogues and The Furies.

Bogle has also won awards including the Order of Australia medal and a United Nations Peace medal.
