I Viaggiatori's Kavisha Mazzella, Mark Holder-Keeping, David De Santi and Irine Vela.

Those with a passion for Italian culture and history will be able to indulge when Moira Arts and Culture presents I Viaggiatori.

I Viaggiatori is a four-piece band which will perform alongside the silent movie Dall’Italia All’Australia (From Italy to Australia) at a special Moira Arts and Culture event.

Dall’Italia All’Australia was created by director Angelo Drovetti, who embarked on an epic 8000-nautical mile voyage with his movie camera.

The result, Dall’Italia All’Australia, is regarded by many as the most comprehensive film ever made of a migrant voyage.

The film chronicles the voyage of the Regina d’Italia, one of three passenger ships built for the Lloyd Sabaudo Line at the turn of last century.

Moira Arts and Culture treasurer Lou Hamon said the group was looking forward to presenting the film with I Viaggiatori.

‘‘It’s quite good. It’s something different. We like to bring something different to our patrons in Moira Shire,’’ he said.

Mr Hamon said the event was part of a series of four performances held across the year with I Viaggiatori the third one.

Moira Arts and Culture will present I Viaggiatori on Friday at 8pm at LOT 1 Cobram-Koonoomoo Rd, Cobram.

Tickets are $35 and $30 for Moira Arts and Culture members. Bookings can be made through www.trybooking.com/243245
