GV Young Professionals' Tim Guyatt, Ellie Phillips and Glen Daniel are excited to dress up for the annual ball.

It is time to suit up, dress up and look stunning for the annual Goulburn Valley Young Professionals Black Tie Ball.

Now in its second year, the ball promises a night of good conversation, delicious food and great beats from musician Braden Pullen.

GV Young Professionals committee member Ellie Phillips said it was set to be a fun night.

‘‘It’s a great way to meet lots of different people in Shepparton,’’ she said.

‘‘For young people it’s something different that’s social and is a great chance to get dressed up.’’

Last year’s ball proved popular and attracted more than 100 people.

GV Young Professionals president Tim Guyatt said because the ball was so successful last year they really wanted to offer it again.

‘‘So far the interest has been really good, we’ve got high hopes and are really looking forward to it,’’ he said.

‘‘We do seem to get people coming from a broader area as well with the ball, with friends coming from Melbourne, Bendigo or Benalla so it’s a good mix of people coming along.’’

Mr Guyatt said it was also great to have the ball in town as the proximity to other establishments meant people could easily extend their evening after the ball finished.

He said they would be holding an after-party at Bullion Bar in Shepparton.

The GV Young Professionals Black Tie Ball will be held at Sherbourne Terrace, 109 Wyndham St in Shepparton on Saturday, September 2, at 7pm.

Tickets are $100 or $475 for a group of five people and include a three-course dinner, beer, wine and soft drink.

The dress code is black tie.

To RSVP for the event email info@gvyoungprofessionals.com by Friday, August 25, along with payment by direct deposit.

Payment can be made through the GV Young Professionals’ bank account at BSB: 033-254, account number: 476-704.
