The sun was shining for the Shepparton Farmers’ Market yesterday, providing the perfect outing for hundreds of visitors at Emerald Bank.
The market plays host to numerous stalls including crafts, food, produce and more.
Manning the Shepparton Motor Museum sausage sizzle, volunteers Rosina May and Terrence Gardiner said it was a great turnout on the day.
‘‘As the number of stalls grow, the number of visitors is increasing, which is great,’’ Ms May said.
The atmosphere was lifted even further with live acoustic music from Goulburn Valley pair Matty and Jamie.
There were activities for all, with Emerald Bank businesses open and the miniature trains busy providing rides around the gardens.
Moira Miniature Railway president Alan Bridges was delighted with the crowds during the past month.
‘‘We had people lining up for rides, which has been great,’’ Mr Bridges said.
‘‘More people have been coming down.’’
The Shepparton Farmers’ Market is on the first Sunday of the month at Emerald Bank from 9am to 1pm at 7725 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla.
