Fun, food and fine tunes on offer

By Shepparton News

Riverlinks Eastbank will go cabaret style for a comedy show inspired by 1940’s radio drama.

Neo Radio’s La Petite Mort takes music by artists Nick Cave, Amy Winehouse and Taylor Swift to the streets of jazz land.

Following sold-out seasons at Melbournes Paris Cat Jazz Club and Butterfly Club, reviewers have called this show ‘spine-tingling perfection’, ‘a night of musical heaven’ and ‘just what the doctor ordered’.

The show will be presented by singers Yvette Hearn, Sam Qualtrough and Suzanne Barton, announcer Paul David-Goddard, with a band made up of Thomas Byrne on piano, Robbie Finch on bass and Chloe Dempsey on drums.

Ken Cameron, Manager Performing Arts and Conventions said its as much about quality entertainment as it is about getting together with friends and sharing good conversation.

He said the show would be a laid back evening with fun, food and fine tunes.

La Petite Mort will begin at 7.30 pm on Friday, July 20 at Riverlinks Eastbank, 70 Welsford St, Shepparton.
