Top films on way

Award-winning entries from this year’s St Kilda Film Festival will be on show in Yarroweyah Memorial Hall on Saturday, July 14.

The annual event is part of the St Kilda Film Festival Victorian Tour and will be making its way to Yarroweyah for the fourth year.

The St Kilda Film Festival promotes emerging talent in a diverse range of genres, including documentary, animation, fiction and comedy.

Organised by the Moira Arts and Culture Inc, the viewings will include a selection of Australia’s top 100 short films along with award winners and Directors Choices from the entries.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided on arrival, as well as supper during the interval.

The Yarroweyah Memorial Hall doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Tickets cost $25 for Moira Arts and Culture Inc members and $30 for non-members. Tickets can be bought at the door or online at www.trybooking.com/VAXB
